all it is is another way to push news about certain things out to the community. This is mostly only Events, Time Capsules or Artifacts... In which no damage numbers are shown to help promote more people to buy them and do their own testing, leading to more profitability in DB pockets.
While some creators DO do events, they are often heavily looked over by DB and to my knowledge have only been style contests/art contests
The youtubers/creators in general are really only allowed to say positive things or very vague "i dont like this" mentions in their videos.
General PR stuff in all honesty.

They create an opportunity for free advertising, rewarded with in-game digital assets with zero intrinsic value.
Thats all they are: advertising that doesnt cost as much real world cash as putting an actual ad on reddit, instagram or twitter.
