Up-Votes Needed Intense Server Lag - Mountain Time Zone

I have been experiencing severe server lag, which started 2 days ago. It's to the point that the game is unplayable. I live in the Mountain Time Zone of the US. I ran a speed test on my computer and I have almost 1 GB download speed. I've also noticed lag on the DCUO forums. Every other game or website works perfect.

I had some lag yesterday. Once the game froze and shut down. I was able to get right back in. Thought maybe it was just me. I am also in Mountain Time Zone and up until yesterday I hadn't experienced everything in the game freezing, people stuck in animations, in years.

Yeah it's been brutal for me honestly. I get about 15 seconds with no lag, and then I lag for about a minute. It's literally making me go crazy. Like I said, I also notice a lot of lag on the DCUO forums, so it really seems to be a server issue.

This recent event and the secret updating is constantly making the game unstable and unpredictable. The whole community is feeling it, I'm on the east and my league mates are all the country seeing the chaos explode on there end too. People are leaving or getting banned for speaking on truth about the real reality of the game. Ongoing severe issues with years of false promises and blatant unprofessional-ism being fed to the public about overhauling to new server's and latest game engine.

Yea, I've been experiencing lag jumping on different toons or if I enter an instance. It sometimes happens when I warp to different worlds.

Seconded. I also noticed lag spikes when switching characters or entering instances. It's hard to predict though, it can be random.

I just ran Sunstone Refinery Alert and lagged for 2 or 3 minutes at a time (I could move around but everyone else was standing still or running through walls). Then, my lag would end and everything would suddenly happen all at once (like a fast forward of the last 2 minutes in 10 seconds).
