NPC base items are awesome.

Just wanted to mention that I think the NPC base items that drop from the seasonal instance are mint!
I especially like that they don’t have speech bubbles and that some of them move around.

I’m desperately hoping we get some Ghosts for the Halloween seasonal.

And some dancing people (on top of a light up dance floor) for the Homecoming event.

Others that I think would be sick, wherever they could drop from, are Amazons, Gotham and Metropolis citizens, prisoners, animals, demonic beings, olympians and aliens.

I would also love alternative versions of the base invitations that we have, but that don’t have speech bubbles and maybe they move around?

It's kinda funny that these same kinds of base "pets" were 75 marks in the spring. But I guess that's just evidence the devs can improve off their mistakes/misfires.

I like them as well. Although (this is nitpicky) I do wish the stationary guards were in an "at attention/standing guard" pose vs an action pose. Still, pretty dope.

I wish they walked like ambush bug or that leph. SOme signature move but better than nothing as before. Now all they need to do is tie that in to the statue tech in the league hall and it's golden.

I put in for this. Especially since Aquaman and Black Manta are top tier characters, I want them in there. But don't like or care about the interaction (on any of them). And the bubble breaks the immersion. Would prefer they worked like the patrols or static NPC ones.

If you must keep the interaction, function like isis and braniac drone. When close, a normal circle pops up.

I agree, I like em too, but I wish they'd do more and I want the base invitations to get rid of that stupid chat bubble. You're there to make my base look good, not talk.
Is anyone else having trouble with the Supergirl totem? I put one in my league hall, and tried interacting with her, but she did nothing.

Incidentally, I originally put her in front of a bank of arcade games, but moved her, because it became obvious the cabinets were... a bit oversized.

Edit: Yesterday (Tuesday) I tried interacting with her, and she works now. 🤷‍♀️

We have arcade game base items? Since freakin when? Unless its one of those base items I collected on a toon for the feat and forgot about it.

There's only one I know of, from the Homecoming seasonal, featuring that furry, flying worm. I placed multiples, though, because having a single video game cabinet next to the cinema concession stand just looked sad.

OH, then I probably have it collected on my main, just never noticed or used it. Admittedly I put little effort in decoing my bases compared to what I used to 5+ yrs ago.

I have several basis on my active characters that are frozen in like 2013.

I pay attention to the seasonal base items more then anything and even then I really only pay attention to the anniversary, spring/summer and Christmas ones. I ignore the halloween base items for the most part.

I'm hoping for interactions :D Imagine Beast Boy and another iconic sharing a dap handshake when in proximity for example.

I echo the general sentiment- loving this direction for base npcs! Good job DCUO :)

It as something I suggested shortly before the new dev team arrived. I'm so glad they gave us those! Honestly, I'm thinking of buying the Atlantean base theme just so I can make the Atlantean Palace with Aquaman and the Atlanteans. (I can't wait for them to give us Mera and Murk!)

The question is will this is a one time like fomo like they did for Superman day pet drop 1 year and never return is what I am afraid
I don't think so. They tried adding the Envirotech workers to Springtime vendor instead of as drop, but those guys are too expensive so I only bought 1 of them. It seems they came to the conclusion that adding mob NPC as drops would be better. I mean, I'm running the event with 4 toons instead of my usual 2, so I think it had the intended effect 😅
